BFS : le biocarburant algal

En effet la BFS a mis au point une procédé de conversion unique (et protégé par une quantité de brevets) qui permet d’utiliser les algues comme ressource énergétique et les transformer en carburant. On connaissait le soja ou le colza, mais les algues cela semble assez étonnant. Pourtant les algues s’avèrent être bien plus avantageuses que les autres végétaux dits « alimentaires ». En effet, les productions de colza ou de soja, qui étaient destinées aux populations pour les nourrir, sont à présent en partie destinées pour produire des carburants, ce qui n’est pas sans conséquences néfastes pour les populations des pays producteurs.
L’utilisation des algues semble donc être beaucoup plus logique , d’autant plus qu’elles se nourrissent de CO2, responsable du réchauffement climatique.
BFS a annoncé qu’elle pouvait produire des quantités massives de biocarburant algal et apparemment à faible coût pour le consommateur final.
On verra donc peut-être très vite une pompe « essence algale » à côté de la pompe diesel et du Super 98. Pour plus d’infos, consultez le site de BFS

With the great content on this blog, it is surprising that there is not a members section that I can find. Did I miss it? Setting up a membership blog or members section on a blog is not all that difficult, you just need to get the right tool for the job.
